Coach Newell’s 4th Annual MLK Youth Camp

 

Coach Newell will be hosting a youth camp on Monday January 19th at the Troy University Softball field.  The cost for the camp will be $54.00 ($50+$4 fee) and will go from 12:00 to 2:30 p.m.  Camp Staff includes:  Head Coach – Eric Newell, Pitching Coach – Camden Decker, Hitting Coach – Anna Shelnutt, Assistant Coach -Leanna Johnson and Director of Softball Operations – Kristy Lawrence.  As well as the current Troy softball team!  Skills to be covered and taught at camp include: hitting, throwing, base-running, pitching and defense.

Things You Need To Know:

  • Camp check-in will begin 15 minutes prior to the start of camp.
  • Ages 6-12 for this camp 
  • Camp fee will be paid online
  • No walk-up registrations PLEASE.  Registration will close on Saturday January 18th
  • The older more skilled players will be challenged a bit more and the younger players who need more help will get the necessary help to improve their game
  • When you register online, you will complete all necessary forms for the camp.
